Rich had to work a few days this week in Port Angeles, WA, so the kids and I took advatage of the advantage of the hotel room and tagged along. Port Angeles is a beatuiful little town just before the Olympic Mountains.
On Rich's day off we went to the Olympic Game Farm and had SO much fun! Olympic Game Farm is a drive through zoo sort of. You can buy loafs of bread to feed the animals that roam around. They come right up to you window so you can feed them, and aren't too proud to beg!
Roman loved feeding the peacocks! When the zebra came trotting along, we quickly rolled up the windows.
We were warned that the zebras could become aggressive. I think the warning should have gone more like: The zebras will bite your face off, so keep your window up! We feed them from a crack in the window.
Zebra trotting next to us, after we decided to move on.
Next up, Llamas. They were just as insistant on us stopping. I'm not going to lie, these animals scared me!
Yaks. They literally charged our car as we came around. We feed them, and they rammed our car when we decided to leave. This Yak had us driving 50mph through a drive through zoo!
I figured if the Yak could do some damage, that this buffalo would likely be the death of us. I was too scared to even crack my window, and I wouldn't let Rich stop the car.
Elk. These things are HUGE! The babies were big as the zebra and the adult males had to bend down to get the bread from the window.
The bears were by far my favorite! They were behind a fence so not a threat at all. As we drove up they encouraged us to stop by making funny faces and waving their paws.
Griffin was pretty quiet the entire ride, but he was very interested in the bears.
These bears have a funny way of making you feel like you could crawl in the pin with them and cuddle. They were just so darn cute! I'd hang out with a bear over a mean zebra any day!

Cool! Y'all are having so much fun and such exciting adventures. We love reading about them!
Hey, Brie! Your boys are such cuties! They're about the same age difference as my girls, right(2 years)? You are no doubt as busy as I am! We just took a vacation to Branson and it involved lots of family fun, but I'm not sure I would call it a vacation!
